Gi Group Recruitment are actively recruiting for Manufacturing Associates for our client in Castlebar County Mayo. Our client is a leading manufacturer specializing in the refinement of stainless steel wires through precision wire drawing techniques. Their products play a critical role in the medical device industry, meeting the highest standards of quality and performance.

The role involves a continental shift pattern which consists of:

  • 2 X 12 Hour Day Shifts
  • 2 X 12 Hour Night Shifts
  • 4 X Days Off

Duties:

  • Manufacture of stainless-steel wire in compliance with required quality standards.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Conduct testing and evaluation of in-process materials to ensure suitability for final production

Requirements for Role:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
  • Familiarity with wire drawing or metalworking processes is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting
  • Ability to perform basic calculations and accurately follow written instructions
  • Strong capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and supervisor.
