Location: West of Ireland
Position: Full-Time | Immediate Start
Salary: €44k

Gi Group Ireland, on behalf of our client, are seeking an experienced Lead Stone Worktop Fitter to join a well-established and growing stone worktop company in the West of Ireland. This is a senior, hands-on role with responsibility for leading all installations on site and managing a Second Fitter to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

The company specialises in installing Quartz, Porcelain, Marble, and Granite worktops across both domestic and commercial projects throughout the West of Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the on-site installation of stone worktops
• Manage, direct, and support the Second Fitter during all stages of installation
• Read and interpret technical drawings and job specifications accurately
• Complete precise joints and mitres to a high standard of workmanship
• Ensure consistently high-quality finishing and silicone sealing
• Maintain professional, polite, and clear communication with clients at all times
• Enforce and adhere to strict health & safety standards on every project
• Represent the company and Gi Group Ireland professionally on client sites

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years' experience installing stone worktops
• Proven ability to manage and lead installations independently on site
• Strong technical ability and excellent attention to detail
• Full, clean driving licence (essential)
• Valid Safe Pass
• Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach
• Ability to work to deadlines while maintaining quality standards
